The RSF / Andy Warhol twelfth collaboration, Bubbles, was born and inspired by a drawing created by the master of Pop art in the 1950s when Warhol was amongst the most coveted commercial illustrators in New York City. The sketch depicts a pair of round glasses, half white and half black, with very round lenses, hence the name.
